Polar Nick Boserio The Artist Deck

Customised with a full length painting by experimental artist Tynan Kerr this Nick Boserio pro model from Polar Skate Co. measures to 8.38" and is made from high quality 7-ply Canadian maple. The topside has a full colour wash that varies between different models and has a monochrome illustration of a stylised character wearing a hat and a black t-shirt printed multiple times above the bottom set of truck holes. On the reverse a colourful painting is set against a light blue background and shows a red coloured character painting with different works of art on the walls behind. To the left side small white text reads 'Nick Boserio' which highlights the model.

Often working alongside Andrew Mazorol, Tynan Kerr is known for his strong use of colour and texture which he achieves through using different materials such as pigment, egg yolk, beeswax and damar resin. As a guest artist for Polar, Kerr's work appears sporadically within different seasons and brings a distinctive look to skate decks, apparel and accessories which for this season include scenes of a painter that combines different illustrative styles and the work of Jacob Ovgren whose work also appears within the winter '19 collection.
